From Municipality to Cityhood: The Evolution of Vigan

Vigan is a place filled with history and culture, known for its cobblestone streets and ancestral houses. Before becoming a city, Vigan was a small municipality where life was simple and peaceful. The people depended on farming, pottery, and weaving to support their families. Even during this time, the community was proud of its traditions and worked hard to preserve its historic landmarks, which would later make Vigan stand out.      As years passed, Vigan transitioned from a municipality into a city. 2025: A Year to Grow, Learn, and Evolve

As the new year begins, I’ve been thinking about the past year. I looked at what I did well, what I struggled with, and what I learned. My Christmas Holiday Experience

This Christmas holiday was a much-needed break. After a busy year, I finally had the chance to relax and enjoy time with my family. It was a simple but special celebration that reminded me of what truly matters—family, joy, and faith.              One of the highlights of my holiday was spending time with my cousins. We played games, laughed, and shared stories, just like we used to when we were younger. It felt good to forget about phones and just enjoy each other’s company. The fun and laughter made the holiday feel extra special.             Of course, I didn’t forget to attend mass during the holiday. Going to church was a peaceful moment for me to reflect and give thanks. The calm atmosphere and beautiful songs helped me feel connected to the true meaning of Christmas.            This Christmas wasn’t about big celebrations or expensive gifts. It was about re...
